"Motivational and informative. This was the first for me but not last"
- 2009 delegates

The ICT Register Showcase conference unites practitioners from across the world, sharing innovative and practical ideas and activities to demonstrate how ICT helps to enrich and personalise learning. The ICT Register is grateful to our partner Becta for supporting this event.

Keynotes, showcases and the very popular rondeval sessions covered:

  • How technology is sustaining the innovative learning and teaching in our schools.
  • How technology is helping to engage students, families and the wider community in learning, both in the school and outside.
  • How new and creative technologies for example, social and collaborative media, handheld and mobile technologies, - are supporting classroom practice and helping to raise attainment.

Workshops and rondevals led by classroom practitioners and students from the ICT Register - a unique network of schools and City Learning Centres keen to openly share their achievements with ICT. The focus was on Mobile Technologies, Student Voice and Designs for Learning. Specific showcases and workshops were supported by our partner Becta.

An Exhibition of popular and innovative software applications, hardware and technology services also supported the Showcase theme and the good practice being featured.

This year for the first Time!

Sponsored by Toshiba and Brother, the ICT Register Showcase Awards are designed to further celebrate the work of individual ICT Register Schools and CLCs in sharing their innovative approaches to the use of ICT regionally, nationally and internationally. The winners presented their good practice during the conference.
