ICT Register Showcase - Making Connections
Tuesday 29 January 2008, Holywell Park, Loughborough

This showcase conference united practitioners from across the world, sharing innovative and practical ideas and activities to demonstrate how ICT helps to enrich and personalise learning.

This year's programme featured:

Keynote sessions from Russell Prue, Award Winning ICT Evangelist Author, Inventor & Entrepreneur and Dr Baldev Singh, Imagine Education Director.

Inspirational showcase presentations and workshops led by foundation/primary, special and secondary teachers, including two showcases supported by Softease.

The Keynotes and Showcases focused on:
  • Creative use of new technologies and software tools
  • Creating new virtual and physical learning environments
  • National and international partnerships
  • Strengthening pedagogy through ICT
  • Web2.0 technologies
and was complemented by a lively exhibition of ICT products and services.
The schools and City Learning Centres delivering sessions had all been selected from the ICT Register, a unique network of the most innovative schools in the Country.
