ICT Register Showcase Awards
This year for the first time, we held an award ceremony for ICT Register schools - ICT Register Showcase Awards - jointly sponsored by Toshiba and Brother. The awards aim to highlight innovative approaches to the effective use of ICT by Register schools and learning centres, whilst also celebrating the sharing of this practice with other schools locally, nationally and internationally!
Nominated Register schools were shortlisted in December 2009 by a specially convened panel [including our sponsors' representatives and non-competing Register school representatives]. Voting for the awards by the Register community [excluding nominees] ran throughout January 2010.
Our sponsors made it possible to offer ten awards across the ICT Register and the top four schools receiving specific awards offered showcases and rondevals at the Showcase event. See the Finalists and the Winners pages for details of the successful schools.
We are grateful to all our Register schools for their contributions to the ICT Register - these awards are to celebrate their achievements and also to help us develop the Register in line with perceived demands for advice and guidance.
