Strength
We feel it essential that children are involved in evaluating their own learning in ICT. They set and review their own ICT targets with their teacher on a half termly basis via their own ICT Assessment Booklet that they begin in Year F and continue to add to as they progress at their individual rate. ICT activities are planned so the children can develop their ICT skills and then apply them once they have mastered them.

We have used ICT to improve the way we record assessment and progress across the curriculum too. Staff are trained to use Microsoft Excel for this purpose. Our Learning Platform enables our assessments to be shared and updated with the headteacher.
