Notre Dame is an outstanding and innovative 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school. Being a Technology College since 1995, now with 2 additional specialisms, we have long held ICT at the core of much of our success. We also host the Hallam City Learning Centre, which promotes ICT work across the region. In 2005 and 2008 we were judged 'Outstanding' by OfSTED. In 2005 and 2007 Notre Dame won the ICT award at the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust national conference and in 2009 won the Becta Excellence Award for the Best Whole School (Yorks & Humber region).
A holder of the ICT Mark we are a Becta trained consultant school who can support schools with their use of the Self Review Framework as they take their jouney on Next Generation Learning Charter towards ICT Mark assessment. We are also a Becta On-line reporting advocate school having set up an award winning system and are busily supporting other schools with the working with ASCL, Becta, SSAT and NAACE on the parental enagagement agenda. We support other schools as a National Support School and Leading Edge School.
