Self Review

ICT offers rich opportunities to transform your school's performance and transform the learning experience for pupils and teachers. The transformational nature of ICT is at the heart of school improvement.

Strategic planning of ICT is essential if a school is to evaluate the impact of its investment in technology against student outcomes. The self-review framework [SRF] offered by a partnership of educationalists, including the SSAT, helps schools with this process. Schools successfully use the SRF to shape their vision for learning and prioritise their action plans. Many have gone on to achieve accreditation for the prestigious ICT Mark and to win excellence awards in ICT.

A number of our Register schools have now been trained to provide specific support and advice to other schools on using the SRF and obtaining the ICT Mark national standard. If you need support in getting started, contact one of the ICT Mark Consultant schools on the Register who are ready to help.
